Short Story Saturdays are a new segment on the channel where, every Saturday for the rest of the year, I'll be talking about a famous short story and how it Tobias Wolff is the author of the novels The Barracks Thief and Old School, the memoirs This Boy's Life and In Pharaoh's Army, and the short story collections In the Garden of the North American Martyrs, Back in the World, and The Night in Question. Tobias Wolff, in full Tobias Jonathan Ansell Wolff, (born June 19, 1945, Birmingham, Alabama, U.S.), American writer who was primarily known for his memoirs and for his short stories, in which many voices and a wide range of emotions are skillfully depicted. Wolff’s parents divorced when he was a child. Widely considered a master of the short form, Wolff is the author of three books of stories: In the Garden of the North American Martyrs (1981); Back in the World (1985); and The Night in Question (1996). In the short story Powder by Tobias Wolff there is an irrefutable relationship that is quite dissimilar.
